The NOM-001-SCFI-1993 standard is titled Electronic Apparatus - Household Electronic Apparatus Fed by Different Sources of Electrical Power - Safety Requirements and Testing Methods for Type Approval and stipulates that AC/DC adapters, converters, eliminators or power supply units with or without regulating mechanisms must be certified for use in Mexico.

The 712A, 722A, L722A, L712A type jacks feature an internal pin of either 2.1mm or 2.5mm depending on P/N selected and a 5/16-32 NEF-2A Thread to mate with S760k, 760k, 761k, and S761k power plugs also available with overmolds from GlobTek.
